Steel Siding Case Study

Direct Customer Quote After Work was Completed:

Countrytowne installed our steel roof and siding. We were very pleased with the quality of work and service. The installers who were polite and courteous completed the work as scheduled and in a timely manner. There were a couple of small issues that we were concerned about and when contacted they came immediately and corrected them, for which we were very impressed.

We chose the steel roof and siding because we liked the farmhouse style. The board and batten siding width in steel was not available in vinyl. Less maintenance is also required with the steel. Country Towne Building Supply stands by there workmanship and we would hire them again.

Challenges:

The home owners wanted a particular look for their newly constructed home that just was not available by any vinyl manufacture. They wanted a minimum 12” coverage panels with raised battens. The customer wanted the look and feel of a traditional cottage, or farmhouse but with the strength and durability of metal.

Solution:

The solution chosen for this project was Board and Batten steel siding, and a new steel roof. They now have a permanent solution for protecting the exterior of the home from all types of weather and harsh Canadian climates. Another key benefit is that the roof will never have to be replaced, and all steel building materials pictured from the job are very low maintenance. Steel siding is also fire-resistant, so homeowners who are concerned about wildfires may choose steel siding for more peace of mind. The main takeaway from this project is just how much more metal is customizable than some other building material options!

Conclusion:

Vinyl and steel siding each offer unique advantages. Assessing the specific needs of your project is key to determining which material is a better fit. However, we truly see the benefits through time both in durability and return on investment with steel building products for any of the projects we have worked on in the past. Providing a unique style and look for every new job we install.
